We gave them more than a year to correct themselves and clear the loan and look what they have served us as the HOLY IFTAR! Varthamanam Management and their Mujahid (Hussain Madavur faction) backers have served a court summons as a Ramadan Gift to their employees!
After a year of silence, we are forced to resume posting in this blog. After a prolonged campaign at different levels, the management of the Varthamanam daily had agreed to settle the issue amicably without delay last year. The Varthamanam people had assured the VEAC delegates and the KUWJ (Kerala Union of Working Journalists) office bearers that the loan will be settled within no time. The campaign seemed to have reached a fulfilling finish. We retracted from our campaign taking their assurance with due respect.
But the management, all of them self proclaimed followers and leaders of the Hussain Madavur faction of the Mujahids have proved themselves mere cheats with no self respect or decency.
The varthamanam employees including the ex-employees have been served court summons by the attorney of the Vijaya Bank. This is the Ramadan Gift by the Madavoor faction of the Mujahids to all their former employees!
A meeting of the cheated employees and former employees has decided to resume the campaign against the media cheats and to seek all means to expose the Varthamanam management and the force behind them.
